My boss decided to get off the web and get on TV. After working out deals with both NBC 4 and the CW here in Columbus, Wake Up America is moving to the air waves. Working on a full-blown half hour TV program is rough – especially with only a couple of people putting it together. The majority of my 7 person team still has to keep the Economy In Crisis website going. But getting a show out a week is doable and if anyone can do it, it’s the team I working with now. 

So here it is, the introduction for the Wake Up America TV show that will air in July of 2014 on both NBC 4 and the CW in Columbus, Ohio. I used After Effects with Video Copilot’s Element 3D plugin.

The sounds are from Video Blocks, other than the swoop in for the Earth/world symbol. That’s from Video Copilot’s new “MotionPulse BlackBox Sound Design Tools.”

Update: My boss pulled the plug on the TV show, but we are still using what we made for an even better YouTube we series. New segments are put up Monday through Friday.
