I was recently asked to create an album cover and text design for the band “Crimson.”

These are the logo and CD cover for the band Crimson, found on Jamendo.

The idea was to make the album cover dark, foreboding to match the music. The red smoke illustrates the color found in the name, and adds to the mystique. The name looks more metallic, but softer – again to fit with the music.

This project started as an idea in my head after listening to the music. The image as it appears in the final version is exactly what I had envisioned when I first heard the album.
